  Step Five:    Complete own synthesis of reports.

Situation: An unsatisfactory situation in one’s anticipated future (e.g. I won’t be able to do this job forever) or present circumstances (e.g. I can’t stand this job)  propels one into the career decision cycle. 

 

Essentially three components shape the career decision process:

 

First: Nature — One’s own nature specifically personal style, abilities and interests play the most prominent role in determining a satisfying and fulfilling career.  In other words, who you are, what you love and what you are able to do determine your ideal career.

 

Second: Nurture—One’s nurturing in its broadest sense determines what career option fits best into one’s present reality.  In other words, events, experiences and people who have shaped your life and values sway one to view certain options as more viable given the present circumstances.

 

Third: Net— One’s efforts to “net” a new career depend on the ability to process all the data gathered about one’s options, identify a plan to achieve it and proceed through the steps to enter that chosen career.

Step One:    Register and receive testing codes.

Once you complete the registration form and make your payment the steps begin. 

 

Within a couple of days, you receive an email from me (theprofiler@thecareerprofiler.com) with links and codes to the assessment sites.  You will also be provided with a way to contact me should you need help navigating through the steps.

 

Step Two:    Complete assessments online.

Immediately set up times in your schedule to complete the assessments allotting sufficient time as prescribed for each assessment.  Following these instructions is critical!! So, if you need clarification at this time, please obtain by contacting me.  For the best results, you must complete these assessments within 7days.

 

Step Three: Receive detailed reports.

Once you have completed the assessments, you will be sent three reports one for each of the assessments you have completed.  Review the results within the next week and schedule three appointments to obtain the remaining documents, further explanations, clarifications and supplemental materials.

 

Step Four:   Receive individualized interpretation of reports with profiler.

At that time, you will be asked to schedule three appointments using my online calendar to receive your individualized interpretations.  During this time you will receive clarification on each of the points made in the assessments as well as additional materials sent to you via email.  For best results, you will need to have scheduled these assessments within 3 weeks of completing the assessments.

 

Step Five:    Complete own synthesis of reports.

One of the materials you will be provided is an analysis worksheet to help you pull together (synthesize) the data on each of the reports.  Once you have completed this report, email it back to obtain your fourth and final appointment.

 

Step Six:       Receive personalized synthesis report from profiler.

 Your final appointment includes a discussion of  a personalized systhesis report written by me which includes my career and work role recommendations for you.  The appointment is used to clarify the information provided to you in this report and to answer all of your remaining questions.of your assessments combined with other data gathered from you during this entire process.

 

With the completion of this last step, you will join the many other clients before in saying,

“Now I, too, know what I need to be, with confidence and certainty.”
